Welcome To Southwest High School Theatre

Southwest Theatre produces several shows each year in the Mainstage and Black Box Theaters, offers a technical program for interested students, plus a full range of IB theatre classes with professional partnerships in the Twin Cities. The Southwest Theatre program produces the Footlights 9th/10th Grade Musical, the Mainstage Play, the One Acts, and the Mainstage Spotlight Musical. The Unhinged Student Theatre Company produces shows which are entirely student produced, directed and acted. The Southwest Summer Theatre program is open to upper classmen and young adults from all areas of the metro. Southwest is proud to support theatre arts, an opportunity for all students to express themselves in a complex and challenging world.
